usual.. I haven't posted in a while. Now is a good time - as I am back in transition. It's just a matter of days before I'm in Chateau country with Studio Escalier. A new chapter.. a new opportunity.

For now, I am happy to report that I've recently finished the portrait of Mercia. The process is still too near for me to actually see the painting (what does it look like?). There were days that the painting was smiling at me.. other days it felt more like silent treatment.
Hopefully, when I return in several months, we'll both be smiling. À plus tard!

I appreciate it Krista. I really do. ..means a lot to me. So much energy went into it, of course, but I really can't see what it looks like - not now, anyway.
