new year!

i've decided to challenge myself with a 52 week project of painting just as many alla prima paintings. Painting quickly has intimidated me for long enough!

It will also be a good exercise in letting go, of which I am also in need.

This being said, I am (realistically) expecting to turn out some clunkers, so I probably won't post them all. But I'll do my best and try to keep posting when I have success.

Again, a happy 2014 to all - I hope it is an inspired year, full of beauty & light.
